Kindergarten through 4th graders will focus on how life skills and leadership skills connect with the world of work and the 6 career paths.
5th graders will use the Missouri Connections website to explore career interests for middle school and beyond.
Although school is not the place for “therapy”, we do assist children when they are experiencing difficulties that might hinder their ability
to learn by offering individual and small group counseling.
Teachers may refer students who may benefit from counseling, and we will contact you to provide further information and to obtain consent if you and your child are interested.
Please feel free to contact us directly if you have concerns and would like us to meet with your child or need help seeking outside resources.
Students may also refer themselves by contacting us directly or by leaving a message in the mailbox right outside our room.
Topics for ongoing Individual and Group counseling my include but are not limited to:
Improving Specific Behaviors
Coping with Transitions, Family Difficulties, Death, Divorce, etc.
As the counselors, we participate in activities such as AVID, Operation School Bell, Park Hill Friends, Spring Testing coordination, and professional development that establishes, maintains and enhances the school as a whole.
